Day 1
Arrive at Anavilhanas Lodge
Arrive in Manaus and head deep into the Amazon Rainforest to Anavilhanas Lodge. This eco-friendly lodge is situated in the world’s largest freshwater archipelago. After lunch, enjoy a boat ride to explore the surrounding terrain and spot alligators.
Day 2
Jungle Hike & Educational Lecture
Enjoy a hearty breakfast and embark on a guided jungle hike. Explore the river where pink dolphins and piranhas swim. In the evening, attend an educational lecture about the Anavilhanas region from local guides
Day 3
Birdwatching Canoe Trip & Local Craft Visit
Start your day with a sunrise birdwatching canoe trip. After breakfast, visit a local craft shop and meet a caboclo family living near the Amazon River. Spend the rest of the morning learning about their way of life before relaxing at the lodge.
Day 4
Expert Archery Lesson
Meet a caboclo archery expert for a hands-on lesson on bow and arrow techniques. After lunch, prepare to depart for Manaus, where you’ll begin the next leg of your journey.
Day 5
Arrive at Pantanal
Fly to Cuiabá and transfer to the Araras Pantanal Eco Lodge. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Pantanal’s grazing fields, where you’ll stop for photo opportunities. Later, take a hike to Mirante da Garça for a stunning sunset view.
Day 6
Horseback Riding & Jungle Hike
Experience the Pantanal from horseback, riding through wetlands and grazing fields to observe the local wildlife. In the afternoon, enjoy a hike to explore more of the reserve.
Day 7
Clarinho River, Piranha Fishing & Barbecue Picnic
Take a canoe trip along the Clarinho River, where you can spot otters and maybe even a jaguar. Try your hand at piranha fishing and enjoy a traditional barbecue picnic in the heart of the Pantanal.
Day 8
Sunrise Hike & Transfer to Foz do Iguassu
Begin your day with a sunrise hike at Mirante da Garça, enjoying the sounds of the jungle waking up. After breakfast, transfer to Cuiabá for your flight to Foz do Iguassu, where you’ll transfer to your hotel.
Day 9
Argentina’s Iguazu National Park, San Martin Falls & Devil’s Throat
Explore Argentina’s Iguazu National Park, home to San Martin Falls and the awe-inspiring Devil’s Throat. Cross into Argentina via the Tancredo Neves Bridge and enjoy different viewpoints of the falls
Day 10
Brazil’s Iguacu National Park & Departure
On the final day, visit Brazil’s Iguacu National Park. Take a bus ride to various vantage points of the falls and enjoy a panoramic view from the lookout platform before heading to the airport for your departure.
